According to notes on her Find-A-Grave page Mildred was a descendent of the Boone family through her grandmother Leah Boone. The notealso indicated that her Watkins line is the one that owned Watkins Ferry during the Revolutionary War and tht George Washington, General Braddock and aniel Boone crossed this ferry on the way to the battle of Fort Duquesne.

Mildred L (Watkins) Hazelrigg died on 22 July 1910 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 12:30 in the afternoon at her home on East Third street. Funeral services were held on 22 July 1910 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 2:00 in the afternoon at her home with the Rev. C.C. Carroll conducting the service. Pallbearers were Robt. Hehigh, Bernie Davis, and nephews James, Perry, Robert, and Hiram Watkins. Her cause of death was complications of diseases. She was buried on 22 July 1910 in Elmwood-Rose Hill Cemetery, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held on 12 March 1902 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 2:00 in the afternoon at the home of her father with Rev. P.T. Hate in charge of the service and Paul Johnson, Oscar Cottrell, Gray Haynes, John Kirk, Edward Deane, and A.G. Chapman serving as pallbearers. Eva's remains were transported over the Illinois Central road from Memphis and arrived in Owensboro on 12 March 1902 at 8:10 in the morning and taken to the residence of her father at 214 East Fifth street in Owensboro. She was buried in Elmwood-Rose Hill Cemetery, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.
