     Benjamin Brashear Jr (IV) was born on 23 May 1698 in Prince George County, Maryland. He was the son of Benjamin Brashear Sr (III) and Mary Jones. Benjamin Brashear Jr (IV) married Rebecca Walker on 24 January 1720/21 in Prince George County, Maryland.

     William Brashear Sr was born on 15 March 1706/7 in Maryland. He was the son of Benjamin Brashear Sr (III) and Mary Jones. William Brashear Sr married Sarah Wallingsford circa 1727. William Brashear Sr married Sarah (?) after 1759. In 1779 William moved to Jefferson County, Kentucky making an actual settlement in May 1779 on Simpson's Creek at the fork. On 18 February 1780 he received a land grant of 400 acres of land on Simpson's Creek. William Brashear Sr left a will on 26 September 1789 at Jefferson County, Kentucky, leaving a feather bed to Samuel Mason Brashear, one feather bed to Mery An Brashear, and one feather bed to Elizabeth Brashear and all the movable estate to these three children. His will stated that Samuel Mason was to maintain the two girls [Elizabeth and Mery An] until they were of age and that the rest of his children had already been given what was sufficient for their parts, therefore he was not allowing them any part but what the law does.

William Brashear Sr died between 26 September 1789 and 3 November 1789 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. His estate was probated on 3 November 1789 at Jefferson County, Kentucky.

     Sarah Wallingsford was born circa 1713. She married William Brashear Sr, son of Benjamin Brashear Sr (III) and Mary Jones, circa 1727.

     Eleanor Brashear was born in June 1710. She was the daughter of Benjamin Brashear Sr (III) and Mary Jones.

     Benjamin Brasheur/Brashear Jr was born. He was the son of Benjamin (Benois) Brasseur and Mary ?richford. Benjamin died unmarried.

Benjamin Brasheur/Brashear Jr died in February 1675.

     John Brasseur/Brashear was born circa 1650. He was the son of Benjamin (Benois) Brasseur and Mary ?richford. "John Brasseur made his Dalrymple Brother-In-Law and Nephews and his Kent Niece his heirs; so we have assumed he died without issue. But wills at the time did not automatically devise to children."

Elizabeth Brasseur/Brashear married John Sellman. Elizabeth (Brasseur/Brashear) Sellman and John Sellman lived at Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

     Robert Brasseur/Brashear the Huguenot was born circa 1598 in France. "Robert and his family may have escaped Southern France c1629, under threat that Cardinal Richelieu would annihilate the Huguenots in the lower Rhone Valley, which he did in 1632. Family legend (undocumented) says that he spent some years in Isle of Thanet, Kent County, England." He immigrated circa 1635 to Virginia; with at least seven children.

     Robert Brasseur Jr was born circa 1630. He was the son of Robert Brasseur/Brashear the Huguenot. Robert Brasseur Jr immigrated with his father, Robert Brasseur/Brashear the Huguenot circa 1635 at Virginia. He possibly married Florence Rey and probably had no children.

Robert Brasseur Jr died on 5 December 1665.

She immigrated with her father, Robert Brasseur/Brashear the Huguenot circa 1635 at Virginia. She possibly married Mark Clare.

     Martha Brasseur was born circa 1636 in Isle of Wight County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Robert Brasseur/Brashear the Huguenot. Martha Brasseur married Capt William Moseley before 21 January 1659. Martha (Brasseur) Moseley married Capt George Taylor after 1660.
