He and Daisy Seats obtained a marriage license on 25 August 1919. Ralph W. Daisy was enumerated as his wife, age 24. Included in the household was Travis Beller age four. He was listed as the son of the head of household, but was likely his step-son. It appears that Daisy likely gave the information to the census enumerator, as the birth place for both Ralph's parents is listed as Iowa which is incorrect. He suffered the death of his father, William Wilburn Wilson Mullen on 18 July 1921 at Springfield Hospital, Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. Ralph W. Mullen was a salesman. He moved circa 1933 to Modesto, Stanislaus County, California.
