She married William Carmie Dawson, son of Ira Weldon Dawson and Mary Louellen Taylor, on 26 April 1912 in Marion County, Indiana. Ada (Cook) Dawson and William Carmie Dawson lived in January 1920 at Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, at 1443 Ohio Street. Ada (Cook) Dawson and William Carmie Dawson lived in 1930 at Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, at 143 Montery Avenue. Ada (Cook) Dawson and William Carmie Dawson lived in April 1940 at Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, at 143 Monterey Avenue.
